As a cabinetmaker, mine is a world made by hand. Inspired by the simple, timeless elegance of America’s nineteenth-century makers, the clean lines and minimalism of their creations, Sea Smoke Design stands as an alternative to the massing of society, to relentless standardization, to all-purpose factory furniture.
The focus of my creative process is you and your unique lifestyle, it’s about bringing form and function, utility and power, to the spaces where you live, work and play. And everything that I create, every piece of furniture that I build, everything that comes out of my workshop, is a unique, handcrafted expression of individuality — yours and mine. Because one size never fits all.

I’m a woodworker who shapes individual living-space needs and wants into good wooden objects, custom-made. I build furniture for home and office that makes life go better and look better, things built to last a lifetime (and another), each time aiming to build as perfect an object as possible.
